Woot-- Just got the trade screen to come up

and no CTD :)

I had a mega attack ship very fast, no armour and huge range and i was using it to attack the other empire flag ships.

So here I am shooting my mini-balls all over the place six or seven empires and up pops the trade screen..

I think one of them was sueing for peace. didn't have the presence of mind to take a screenie.

no pretty graphics and simular to galciv1 ( I believe they haven't got to the graphics for this screen yet)

the other empire wanted something, but obvously not all the bits in the gui are working yet so i just said give me both of your planets..

they didn't , so i blow up their flag ship mahahahahahah

By the way has any one got anything other than many little white squares when fighting enermy ships?

Can you make sure the "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming.net\GalCiv2\Gfx\Explosions" has "Explosion01.png" in it?

Also, can you post your video card specs from "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming.net\GalCiv2\Debug.err" (towards the top of the file).

Thanks!

Yeah, my ships fire white blocks at each other too. The ships blow up properly though. I just figured that the laser graphics weren't in yet.

The white blocks could be caused by Alt-tabbing out of a fullscreen game.

I get them when I'm full-screened and haven't alt-tabbed out. Also when in windowed mode.

I'm getting square mini-balls as well... just figured it for a missing texture.

As Zoomba said, No alt-tabbing

It's not the actual explosions but the weapons fire I was refering to. The explosions look cool & I'm always zooming right in to watch them

Oh, found it.  It was trying to place a png that wasn't available.
