Where's my Sparkly Crown? Aren't I a Queen?

I hate cleaning the house. The satisfaction of cleanliness totally disappears when messes develop just as quickly as I clean them. So John & I are toying with the idea of getting someone to come in once a month and clean the floors. That's it. I can tolerate the rest of the messes. But the floors are absolute hell to clean. There's no satisfaction in it. This morning I swept & mopped most of the place, only to be walking around barefoot and find my feet sticking to WHATEVER it was that eluded the mop. Someone ought to be getting paid to do this crap. At least that person would get some cash out of the drudgery.
So we're poor and shouldn't be outsourcing our housework. It will cost us maybe $50-$100 a month. That's a trip or two to the grocery store. We might starve, but dammit, our floors will be clean!
