Metaverse scores: Huge shows nothing

I assume I can't be the only one seeing this issue: when I go to sort by Huge map size on the Metaverse, it claims there are no scores to show :notsure:

Well they did say that they ran out of budget for the Metaverse so there could be no money to fix this little bug.

Maybe we should start a Save the Metaverse fund and chip in so that they can do some work on it ;)

I'm surprised they still haven't fixed it. I suspect it would take 10 minutes. But budgets are budgets sometimes. And if they get in there and discover ooops not a 10 minute fix they'd be taking time from their expansion where they wish to concentrate.

Stardock 1 : Oh look, joy! The Top 4 Metaverse players are clamouring AGAIN for more engineering hours to be spent on the Metaverse.

Stardock 2 : Bah! Ignore them. Its more fun counting the money coming in from the folks dying to be our Xpack betatesters.

The trend of forcing people to pay to beta test software is something I never really got. But, i guess people are willing to do it. I'm all for supporting stardock, i just refuse to pay to help a company on principle.

Re: Gibbie99

Stardock is not asking anyone to pay $30 to be on their beta test team. Stardock has created a special niche product, like a fan club or a guild or some such thing, where the consumer can pay extra money to get a higher level of access to Stardock's programs and releases. Part of that package is access to beta releases. Part of that package is also free access to all of Drengin.net's release for a year after your purchase. But it is a gross oversimplification to say that Stardock is selling the beta of the Expansion set, or the rights to be a beta tester.

Okay, here is a non-top player asking for this to be fixed, as well as expanding the budget for the metaverse.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. A LOT of games with great gameplay have eventually faded away to make room for new ones. A strong online/community element can give a game a longer life --> larger following --> More sales.
