Help with "Why Left-Pane in the Windows won't skin"?

Need your assistance. What causes "some" WindowBlinds not to skin the Left-Pane in the Open Windows; (e.g., My Pictures and so on)?

One reason would be that the skin is a bit older. Task-pane skinning was just implemented in Windowblinds 4 (me thinks, or maybe 3.5?). So if the skin was made before that, it would not support this feature.

Another reason would be if an older ms-styles would have been ported to WB and the porter did not take the time to supplement the task-pane bits.

If the skinner is still around, you could ask if he/she would update their skin. Seems a few...adni18, pallet, apb...are doing just that. Alternatively, you could open the skin in SKS and create the shellstyles yourself using bits from the skin or making you own images. One was "Combat Flight Simulator 3 by the Skins Factory", and some of Klatuu's skins. I will follow your suggestion Scribe Essencay, and thank you too aufisch.

If the skin is a msstyle port, open in SKS, explorer tree click XP Shell, Shellstyle ( unofficial ), right click
on Shellstyle XP Low Level definition, click remove section, save then reapply skin, will have left panel.
