(sigh) I think a couple of my combat scenes made it into the final cut. They used CGI to replace my face with an old shot of Cruise from "Days of Thunder," though.

Regarding the paycheck, money means little to a samurai. Good thing, too, considering my salary. In lieu of cash, I asked the filmmakers if they'd return the CGI favor and add my face to the director's cut of "Risky Business" - specifically, a couple of the scenes with Rebecca DeMornay.

(Actually, I offered to re-shoot the scenes completely, but haven't heard back from them yet - we'll see...)

Are you really a Tom Cruise-style samurai? What about one of the little guys with black pyjamas and balaclavas? Maybe one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? (It'd make transmogrifying very easy if that were true).

The strength of the Special Forces is ever-growing. Powerful they have become, fearless they are. A great advesary they will prove to be.

Regrouping the Evil Empire is, soon we will reclaim what was taking from us and what is rightfully ours.

The Dogs of War have indeed engulfed the Metaverse. War, it seems, is all that matters. Everyone is slowly learning that fact. Evil now has the foothold that no one can shake. We will stay, it may not be in the form of the Evil Empire but never doubt evil is a apart of us all. Don't fight it, or you will be destroyed by it.

Think of it more as a police sketch than a finished piece. Even so, you'll notice absolutely NO resemblance to the Terrible Turtles! ;p

OK, this is bizarre. I happened to be browsing the Metaverse standings, seeing where my fellow SF commandos were ranked, when I noticed that FOR THE FIRST TIME, I'm ranked in the top 100. w00t!

The bizarre part is, I haven't submitted a game since late November, due to Real Life scheduling hassles and a slight case of "burned out on playing GalCiv" that I'll hopefully soon recover from.

So, once again the Metaverse scoring has me stumped. I'm torn here...should I start playing again? If I can gain 30 spots by not playing for 5 weeks, that means I should be able to just pass time here on the Forums, and still pass Jaws and Ginata by April or May, right? :SURPRISED:

You'll move down in score once you start to play temporarily as the aging process will rip you apart. But after that it will go up again.

Well I submitted a couple games but my score seems to be stuck or something . . . I'm a bit confussed, if I didn't know better I'd say I'm going backwards? LOL

I've never been able to work out the timing on submission - thankfully there are smarter people than me around. I think Primipulus Alexis has a spreadsheet with all the relevant details, if you're interested. Hey people - we're within sight of the wizards: no slacking off now!
