Theme Manager Help

Upon arrival to this site, I thought, "this is a godsend". For those of us on our computers all the time, we need the change.

I downloaded all the packages and everything seemed to be moving fine. When I first opened theme manager, I thought - no problem. I clicked on a suite and it asked me to do I want to apply. I of course clicked yes and it proceeded to start downloading the different elements I needed. I noticed in the "advanced" pane that as it was downloading each item, the box would get unchecked, but would still say "no downloaded". It went through all the items and when it was done, nothing happened. Nothing was downloaded. I of course did it over and over, clicking on different suites, different ways. I then hit the forums to check on any docs. I found the cordealius (sp) help but that was all quite obvious and didn't find anything on theme manager or suites. I tried myself to use desktopx and windows blinds and with them, it is easy to change. Just click on whatever and it changes. Shouldn't theme manager work the same? It seems that some other people have the same problem but there was no helpful response to them.

I really hope to get this thing working! Any help?

Unfortunately that's a problem with older suites after the new Wincustomise site was put into place. The URL's to download the components of these suites point to the old servers, which no longer exist. I would recommend two things:

1) Try and download the suites which are larger than lets say 500 KB (up to 5MB). These suites contain all components and do not rely on URL's to download them.

2) If you really like a suite, but it is only a few kB large; go to the Wincustomize Website and run a search of the Gallery for this suite (using the suite's name. Note run the search in 'Gallery' not in 'Suites'). This will then cause all the components of the suite to show up on one page. Download the components and install them individually. You can then go into Theme-Manager and create your own suite using the downloaded components. This will allow you to switch between themes quickly.
