As on most Fridays. I'm currently running thru a pot of coffee I made 3 hours ago while my wife and son watch Pirates of the Caribbean on DVD. Gonna use this weekend to rest up and get ready for the Rolex 24.

What are you getting the house ready for, BlueDev?

Lantec, what do you think of the pseudo spec cars at the 24? I still favor the ALMS.

Just making a cup'o jo to get creative on my next funky ink icon pack.

Need an emoticon with 'ZZZ's attached.

did you get my e-mail????

SD if you mean the Daytona Prototypes, I've kind of gotten used to used them. There's more in the field every year. I do prefer the Lemans Series Cars. GT3 is my personal fav. Looking forward to seeing what the Pontiac GTO can do this year. I had a 68 and a 69 way back when gas was 49-59 cents a gallon.

I have a car that gets me to work. My brain is fried. And I'm tired too!

My son was peeking over my shoulder and now he wants to know if you've been to Sebring. The 12 hours ALMS kick off was the first race I ever took him to. Like you he prefers the Lemans Series.

yes wmsco, thank you. sup, buddy corky? java makes the creative juices flow, but the teeth brown.

Yes, Lantec. I meant the prototypes. I can't wait to see the DBR8 at La Sarthe this year. GTO is gonna be killer, too. Is the GTO slated to run all of the races or just the big ones?

Hi Donna

so tired I'm missing posts. I've been to LeMans the first year the Audi R8s ran. Road America when the Jags were winning it all and the Nissan GTP was up and coming. I would love to go to Sebring. I hear it's a big bash.

Not sure about the Goats. If you think you tired now, Sebring will put a serious dent in your physical condition and the Rolex takes a week to recover from. They need to space them out a little more. A little over a month doesn't quite get it.

Gives you time to change your clothes.

At the 24 in France, mine got a little ..er gamey by the afternoon Sunday

If it's like last year, you need several changes or you just sit nekkid and cold in the rain. Luckily, I live about 20 minutes from the track and you can re-enter for the Rolex.

Well I do drink hot tea in situations like I had

Hope you feel better, Jason. Being sick is all it's cracked up to be. I love green tea, Corky. Sensei would agree to the switch, I'm sure.

Waiting for an invite, Lantec.

Just kidding. I'm broke this year. But in the future, I'll make it down at least once to enjoy the experience (and the horsepower)

We are getting ready to be therapeutic foster parents for a teenage girl. Our oldest is 5, so this will be a big change. It has involved lots of rearranging, new furniture (that I get to assemble - yeah for real!), and cleaning/de-junking. It is exciting though.
