Where can I find the English version?

Hi!

Last week I bought the German Version of GalCiv. Since all updates just fit with English version, I want to download this version with the Stardock Central. Up to now I found a lot of stuff (updates, bonus-packs and so on) but no English version. Can someone please discribe me where it's hidden?

If you have SDC you can get the rest.I think if you are registered that you can uninstall german version and download english version from Stardock.

Been so long that I dont remember if Stardock was on cd or not.

But where on the SDC-side can I find the download of the english version?
For installing the english version instead of the german I have to download it complete. I have my serial number and the SDC functions. My problem is to find the download-button.

after you uninstall the german version from your computer, start stardock central. 'galactic civilizations' will not appear in the software window and you mast register it manualy (from Tools/Register Products).
Now the game will appear in the 'Games' list and if you click on it you will see an 'Install' button on the right of the game's name. that's it! i hope i was in any help to you.

I have to ask again: The data set that is offered to me has just a size of about 100 MB's. This cannot be the complete english version!?!

instead of downloading hundreds of megabytes ("the whole game"), you need only
1. german CD
2. text files from an old english installation (140Kbyte), carielf gave in the thread 'Bug report for 1.10.072' a link (on joeuser.com)
3. patch1.10 (18Mbyte)
to have the latest RUNNING (english) version!
