possible to give more spaces between icons in OD?

Hi ppl,

Is there any way to give more spaces between icons in OD? It looks to me icons are placed too close to each other.( it's like there are no spacing between icons.. )

Option #1 = increase icon size in the "appearance" section of the "Configure Dock" dialog.

Option #2 = right-click on dock and select "Add>New Separator" (this will add a vertical line between the icon though).

Option #3 = use the separators combined with the "Transparent" dock which can be found here Link

I have found it best to apply the separators and situate my icons first before applying the "Transparent" dock, because it is more difficult to manipulate the dock once it is transparent.

If the vertical separator lines remain after applying the transparent dock, just click each one and they should disappear.

These are the solutions I know of, hope they help.

But what I really want to do is increase the spacings between every icons by 2px or something like that.
Mobydock is better graphically but too buggy..

I have not tried it yet, but you might be able to open the PNG file of any icon (if that is the image file type you are using), and increase the canvas size (term for photoshop indicating the transparent area around the image of icon), not the image size.

In theory, if you increase the size of the canvas by say 10 Pixels and then save file, you would get the space you are looking for - unless OD+ ignores this somehow.

This might work, but again - I have not tested it.
