Old savegames and Video resolution

Hello,

I am new to stardock (installed today) and just downloaded the latest ver. of galciv 1.10A.73. The problem is my previous saves now CTD when I try to load them. Is that to be expected or is it a bug?

A second question I have is on video resolution. Are there any plans to add a video settings option to change screen size say from 800X600 to 1024X768 or vice versa?

Hi,

1. Expected. Officially, the old saves wouldn't work.

2. Not at the moment. Likely Galciv 2.

I thought I read that previous versions of saved games might not work under the new version. As far as video, I have no idea, but I would think that if there were going to change it, they would have done so by now. Maybe if we get enough votes, they will include it in the pay for expansion pack.
