New shoes suck

Well this old fart gotta go play nice with a heavy slanted way left crowd tommorow night.

My wife must attend this instalation function and guess who must attend with her.. yeppers dats right da ol street thug himself.

These evening are tortureous for me.... couple having to play nice with people that make me crazy I have to break in my new "pronto uumos" ouch.

So as I put on my "donna karen" spelling? suit, my fancy schmantzy dress socks my new shoes, think of the ol moderateman surrounded by bleeding heart liberals. OH MY GOD what I won't do for my hunnybunnmy..

I can just pray politics do not come up.... Last function I attended I almost caused a riot.... just by saying quietly."no I vote republican" there was this GASP ... then complete silence... then one brave soul said ,"well we will change you over to the liberal side" at this point my wife grabbed my hand and squeezed real hard cause she knew I was gonna say something rude, well I behaved and just replied' Maybe I can entice a few of you to a party with rational thought and goals.. well!!! the silence was deafining.

Hope tommorow goes better..... I could use a few republican prayers for strength and guidence in this time of possible danger.

I feel for you I had to attend theses sorts of things in the past and yes they do suck.

In the wake of my coming divorce God himself has sent me an angle. That's really the only way I know how to put it. She is everything I have ever dreamed about in a woman and to top it off she want's to build a friendship first, which is proving to be harder said than done for both of us, but we have shown unreal self reastraint so far.

Life is good for now......

Isn't it ironic that "Liberal" has somehow come to mean, "I'll tolerate anyone, as long as they aren't Conservative"?
