Logon Studio Question

I don't get it...

I'm not sure if it is just my comp or not, but whenever I use an image that has black in it, it blotches some of the black out, and replaces it with a different color. Can anybody help me with this, Thanks

I've had some luck with changing the background color. Even though it isn't seen with an image in front of it. It appears to have an impact on what's in front.
