That is an interesting group coming out next year. I though we had it pretty good this year.
How do you have time to play all of these? Let alone pay for them.

Eclectic mix of genres there. Did you play Rome:Total War? I'm looking forward to an expansion to that. Most gripping game of 2004 for me.

From your list I want to play ES:IV, STALKER and maybe GalCiv 2 (I'm a TG subscriber so what the hey). Unfortunately Dungeon Lords doesn't look like it's going to be any good or they would have released the demo by now. I think that's pretty sad cos DW Bradley has such a history I wanted him to pull it off. He's a bit like the good Derek Smart of RPGs.

Apart from the modern combat games, I hadn't even heard of a lot of those games. Auto Assault Online looks like a new and improved version of Steve Jackson's Car Wars (that I played on my brother's Sinclair Spectrum).

Dungeon Siege was a huge disappoinment for me. I kept seeing these glowing reviews and I couldn't understand how people were playing the same game I was. I don't have high hopes for the sequel, and this from a diehard fan of Total Annihilation.

IS auto assault one of those games like the old robot wars? program actions and then let them go to town?
Settlers, Civ4, all look pretty tasty and I am more of a RTS and FPS guy these days. So Stalker; Chernobyl looks pretty wild.

Stalker is actually supposed to be like a Post Apoc Morrowind type game.. Heavy open ended RPG..

Settlers I tried the demo, its incredible, i'll be buying that.
