hardware info on bottom of desktop

Hi all,

I have some info displayed on the bottom of my desktop: IP address, processor and speed, PC uptime, etc. How do I get rid of it?

Could you please specify which ancillary applications you are running? DesktopX, Sysmetrix, ObjectDock/Bar, Litestep modules, anything like that?

Hi werewolf,

my apologies - I feel a reall idiot for not saying what I had running!

I am running WindowBlinds, Desktop X, and a couple of others, like CursorXP.

I've identified DesktopX as the culprit, but can't see where to turn this annoying message off when DesktopX is running.

Any help you can offer, I'd be grateful to receive.

switch to edit mode and delete the objects !!!
