1000's of Metaverse Players and only 5 show up for Game of the Month?? Hello? Is thing on ??

I assume that people use the Metaverse because they want to track their scores etc.. against other people.

I guess nobody knows about the Game of the Month that Michael Casey runs ????

This GOTM is far more challenging than any Metaverse game. Check out the latest game Michael put together. It really takes GalCiv to a higher level than the Metaverse...

I can't believe that only 5 or 6 people are participating, when we have all these Metaverse players... blows my mind... or maybe all the Metaverse players are trying the GOTM and losing, so they don't submit their games ;p

I agree, ImperialGuard. I would really encourage more of us to participate in this unique opportunity to compete with others on a level playing field.

I've enjoyed the last two GOTMs I've played.

I'd like to start playing the GOTM. I saw it too late to play the June GOTM, but I would have played that one.

I don't think I could beat the AI at painful on anything other but a tiny or small map. When I get I little better, I'll definitely play.

Preach on, brother ImperialGuard!

I'd love to see ten or more people do this one, especially since ANYONE has a chance here. (Training yourself for high metaverse scores won't really help with this victory condition.)

And, despite being #5 on the empire list, the Fellowship blows away the competition in Games of the Month. In the last one, Fellowship players took the top two spots.

I'm surprised at the other top empires... are they afraid to enter competition on an equal footing?

(Trying to fan the flames of empire rivalry! ;) )

the biggest hurdle is the saving of the game probably. i am no slouch on stuff on the internet but i still had to:
register
figure out apolyton's save system
upload
figure out how to link
confirm the linnk worked

that's a lot more effort than hitting "submit game"
plus my galciv crashed on the second game so i couldn't play :sniff!: >:( (:(
