The Doctor is not the father of the boy. The Doctor Has to get home at 2pm sharp. How are the doctor and the Boy related."

A boat is moored at a dock.

It's 7:15pm and low tide. 3 of the 5 rungs of the boarding ladder are above the waterline. In approx 12 hours it'll be high tide and the water level rises by 1m between high & low tide. The rungs of the ladder are 0.45m apart. How many will be showing at high tide?

1 or 0 depending on where between the 3rd and 4th rungs the water started.
