You're still being vague, but I'll attempt to help............ Since you made it through the logon process, it can't be BootSkin causing the problem. I can't imagine CursorXP logging you off. What else did you install? Be specific... "everything that comes with it" really doesn't tell us much. What do you mean by "I had to delete my whole computer"? Have you tried installing one program at a time, to determine which one is causing the problem?

have you purchased them or using pirated / demo copies of these software. I have been using them for atleast last 3 years but they never made any problem too me. Check your system for viruses and bugs...!!!!

...and is it registered/activated one too...?

The same thought occured to me ... an unactivated installation of XP past the 30 days.

OVADOSE, do you get any messages before the computer 'logs you off'?

BootSkin skins the bootscreen, LogonStudio skins the logon, but that's not what pict asked you............. Do you get any messages (errors, warning, etc.) before you are logged off?

I had that problem once before, it can be the skin yer using. Once I rebooted my comp to see the bootskin I wanted and it did the SYstem Failure skin I loaded, flashed a quick blue screen, and rebooted itself. Then it asked me if I wanted to go back to the settings that worked last *( Of course I said yes, who wants a computer that doesnt work? )*

It sounds like your computer may be rebooting rather than logging you off. Do you see the BIOS screen when it happens? This would look the same as if you just turned your computer on.

Wasn't there a virus going around a couple months back that did this to your computer I think I remember Gary trying to help GM get her sister's PC straighten out after she was struck with it.

OVADOSE Just so that you're clear on what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about any Stardock Applications or any skins from WinCustomize. I think you may have a completely separate issue on your PC. Have you installed and up to date Anti-Virus Program and scanned for viruses?

I'll see if I can find a link to that thread.

I can't find the thread....the one I referenced above was actually Gary helping GM with her machine that died

You're right Stephen...gm's hard drive took a dive on her in that thread. This guy needs to get into safe mode and turn off 'Restart on error' so he can read the error to us or we'll never know what it's doing...

Is it me or is only half this thread in English????

How dusty is the inside of the computer? Sounds like it could be an overheating problem. I had a K6-2 a couple years ago that would run for about 5 minutes before rebooting itself.

You have to pay for a couple of things on this site (No Problem) However, I think the Interpreter should be supplied free. >
