Political Poll

Bush or Kerry?
Where is the "None Of The Above" option? That's what I would choose.

I will not vote for Bush. Simply because he is a liar. Bush Stated we went to Iraq because Iraq had WMP. Now we found out that no such weapons existed when in fact over 1000 of our troops have died. Top that off with the fact it was proven Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11. They have all died for what? Because of Bush's sick plan to want to control Iraq. We should have been looking for Osama instead of Saddam. To this date he roams free after all those people were killed in 9/11. >

No, he did not lie........ he was using intelligence that was supported world wide.  Kerry said the same thing, so did Edwards, and Kennedy, and many others. Stop buying into the propaganda from the Micheal Moore's (now there's a realy liar for you), and think for yourself. Bush said Iraq was a "gathering" danger. Kerry and Edwards both said Iraq was an "Eminent" threat, but now they claim Bush said what they said, but they never said what they said........ they make me dizzy.

I can see that this is going to turn into a debate and not a very good one.
Have we not found in the past that political discussions do not go well on this board.

Why are so many concerned weather Saddam had anything to do with 9/11 anyway.......... that's just a smokescreen from the Dems. This is the War on Terror, not the war against on those that had something to do with 9/11 directly.

I do think for myself, thank you. But what Bush should have done as soon as he found out there was no reason to be in Iraq he should have pulled the boys out. Granted Bush was using messed up Intel on the situation but I still think we should have spent more resources on Osama then Saddam and Iraq. AND Bush has not created any jobs.. I see that every day here in Oregon. Unemployment lines are long and jobs are very short. And the Gas prices need to be dealt with as well.

As far as Micheal Moore - Haven't seen his movie or read anything he wrote yet.

Bush did not create the recession, and he certainly had nothing to do with the one million jobs lost after 9/11, or the problems that it caused with the economy. I watched my business die on 9/12, and it didn't get better until after the Bush tax cuts. 1.6 million jobs created in the last 13 months, is not no jobs created. Gas proces have more to do with new world demand, and the fact that, thanks to the left, we don't have enough refinery capacity here in the US. We could ship in 3 times as much oil and it would make no difference. We're at maxmimum refinement capacity now.

Kerry also "lied" about WMD. Along with most democrats including Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and John Edwards. Are they "liars" also?

Also, there are troops right now looking for osama. Just because it doesn't make the news doesn't mean it isn't happening.

It's really up for debate if any President creates or loses jobs. Just because unemployment lines are long doesn't mean no jobs have been created.

kona, are you under the blind deception that NOBODY is looking for Osama, ok, and what of the probably 1/4 of the forces in Afghanistan who can't say a word to anyone about anything they're doing because that is exactly what they're doing, looking for Osama. Just because you don't look on the news and have someone there proclaim they just saw 10 ARMY Special Forces soldiers walking through the woods yelling "Osama, Olly Olly Oxen Free!" Doesn't mean it's not happening.

well, i delivered my absenteee ballot today. i cast a write-in vote for joseph biden. in my opinion, he's much more qualified to lead this country. it's just too bad bubba bill can't run for re-election. i'm a registered democrat but have always voted for the person, not the party. i can't stand it when somebody says he/she voted a straight ballot

Funny how the folks who have put themselves in harm's way and their families have a more positive outlook about the economy and Iraq.... http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/15/military.poll.ap/ ....and Bush. I know it's a poll, but this isn't just 3 to 4 percentage points here.

Geeh, my memory must play tricks on me. I could have sworn that Irak was ordered to deliver all WMD or it will be attacked. Irak kept saing it didn't have any, so it was attacked. Turned out they didn't have any...

Well, I will be voting for Bush. I am not exactly happy with the current state of the economy, or even with our situation in Iraq. I do however believe he is better qualified as a leader, and I find his lack of "polish" as a politician to be something in his favor.
While Mr Kerry is certainly intelligent, and makes some good arguments, he strikes me as too much af a self-serving opportunist to be trusted to lead our country. And if ever anyone was the definition of an opportunist it has to be John Edwards.
These are my opinions, and I know that other WCers will have their own, but that was the point of this thread, wasn't it?
BTW, Frogboy/Draginol/Brad has a good read on our choice of candidates: http://draginol.joeuser.com/index.asp?AID=31247 if you haven't already read it.

/me isn't to fond of Bush but he is a strong leader and thats why (IMHO) the world leaders don't want him reelected.

Bush is going to cut the Veterans benifits and I think medicare also. As a Vet., I don't like that. Send our troops out to police the world and then cut their benifits. HUM.

Kerry is so wishy washy he scares me. The world leaders love him because he wouldn't do anything. He bends so many ways, you don't know what he believes or is thinking.

I'am a republician as are most of the informed people in the service. Democrates trash the service and don't give any pay raises. Republicians have a strong military and give pay raises.

But I did vote for Gore.

On a side note, I don't know all the provinces in Canada. Don't need to know that. But.... we should have taken Canada back in the early days when it was still part of France/England. Oh well.

As long as the US has a "us against the world" attitude, then you may be right, but sometimes it's nice to have friends.

Maybe if Canada grew a backbone and stopped being So friendy... I might even buy a used car from you.

I am a Republican & I'm voting for Bush..I also voted for Jimmy Carter and Ross Perot so I don't think I can be categorized as an Idealogue. I just believe Bush has more character, is more honest, more down to earth and is a leader as opposed to Kerry whom I view as a follower....His views IMO "follow" the polls & focus groups..I don't believe he has many core beliefs to guide him which is why he appears to be wishy-washy and simply a political opportunist.
I'm not gong to deny Kerry is an opportunist. All politicians are.
