Strange .zip Files not allowing me to install Objects

I recently installed a new graphics card and SP. 2, these apparently caused some instability with my Stardock programs, i decided to reinstall object dock, but i managed to lose Tiggz excellent killer_meters. When i tried to download it again i came up with a list of files in my .zip, but no .exe file to install the object. Is this normal? Am i missing something? I don't remeber this from last time, but then again i am a complete novice. Thanks for the help.

Yes its normal after updating to sp2 that the files are downloaded in .zip form. You need to unzip the file and then place the subfiles in the correct folder OR open whatever program you want to use and click on install from disc, then find the zip file and it will self install. It depends on what is in the zip file.

Yeah I am having problems with sp2, But as to the .zip file there are .png files, .ini. files, .dll files, etc. but no .exe file. Is the .exe needed to place the object? I don't have the option of loading from disk on configure DesktopX, just a file labeled Killer_Meters, again great object, that is empty. I click it and it gives me the option of downloading from internet...thats it. Like i said complete novice, sorry.

If you're trying to install DX objects, rename the zip part of the file to dxpack. After the file is renamed, double-click the file.
