ObjectDock icons hidden behind dock upon reboot -2nd post

Hi All,

I posted this question once before, but wasn't clear on what the problem was. I'm hoping this will make more sense. I'm running ObjectDock (not "Plus") which came with the version of ObjectDesktop I purchased. I've since updated to the most recent version (not sure what the # is). I'm running XP Pro (if that matters). The theme I'm using is Paul/Mormegil's LaST (Cobalt) and I've configured the dock to stay on top of any other open windows ("Always-On-Top") rather than "Normal Window Z-Ordering" from the "Appearance" options.

The problem I'm running into is that upon reboot, the ObjectDock Icons are hidden behind the dock itself. I'm not referring to the icons on my desktop which are hidden by choice. These are the icons actually on the dock. I have set the icons to magnify to 130 pixels, so when I mouse-over the dock the re-appear, albeit partially obscured behind the dock. This allows me to click on the "Configure Dock" icon and open the settings box.

If I select "Normal Window Z-Ordering" the icons re-appear normally on the dock. However, I still want ObjectDock to appear above all other open windows, so I re-select "Always-On-Top" and the icons remain on top of the dock... errr... until I reboot, that is... Then they are hidden again.

Any ideas as to how I can correct this problem? Thanks!

I would un-install, then re-install the program within SDC.

...If that don't work, un-install from SDC and download from here https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

Thanks for your reply MiNDTRiPP. I tried both options without success. Continued fidgeting and found this still only happens when I change the position settings from Normal Window Z-ordering to Always-On-Top. I leave it on the former (default) and the icons do not disappear. The dock won't show up on top of other windows as I had hoped, but this is less bothersome than the other issue. Failing some other suggestion, I will live with it as-is.

Also, my apologies to all for the double post and thanks to all that posted replies.
