MS Office icons/logos in vector format?

vector format is *.png . and in that case...there are lots on this site.
of course, most people don't submit them in vector form, rather raster it, then send.
try macromedia fireworks if you want to make your own.

Actually, I am making an icon pack and the existing rasterized icons (PNGs included) that I've been able to find on the internet aren't really helpful as I need to manipulate them to some extent.

auto-logic, *.png isn't vector form, it's raster, it just usually has an alpha channel which allows semitransparency..

vector format would be some file that contained the paths..

I dunno if the MS icons were even made vector....

.png is vector - as long as you're dealing with fireworks, or illustrator. these programs save their editable paths (not raster) in .png format. rasters can also be contained in .png files, as well.

hmm... you could run some images through adobe streamline, not sure where to find them already done, though.
