Keys for Legacy Fences 2.0 not working

Hello:

I have a license key for Fences 2.0 and the receipt for my software.  The key does not work as I have upgraded my computer.  I need your help with this and can send you my original invoice.  Please advise and thanks.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just to be clear, you are trying to activate Fences v2 using your fences 2 key, yes? If so please try these guide to review and manage your old activation, try to removed/deactivate old activation tied to Fences v2. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260191763/How+to+review+and+manage+your+current+activations

The key does not work as I have upgraded my computer.
Fences 2 is not compatible with newer versions of Windows.

JanOscar is 100% correct. It isn't compatible with W10 nor W11.

This suggestion did not work.  Is there another work around?  The computer I de-activated and where it was running was Win 10.  The new one is Win 11.  Please advise!

Fences 2 won't run on Windows 11...the only Fences Stardock is selling is Fences 6.

Yes, Fences 2 not compatible on Windows 10 or 11. Not sure how you manage to use it on your Windows 10 before. However, I am more interested on your activation issue. Have you tried my "review and manage activation steps" I posted above? What error did you get while trying to activate it?

If you are asking for invoice, I can not provide it, but, please raise support ticket using the link below, use "Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.

Hi Basj:

When I click on the link, it tells me it cannot find any registration so I can't move forward.  I did register with my email address on my invoice (it is still valid) and created a new password but the system shows NO record of my purchase.  If you send me an email address, I can send along my original invoice with product and license key.  Again, this is not showing up in my downloads or order history.

Please advise and thank you!

If so, that is strange, can you post a video showing us the error that popup when it actually come up.

I tested that link without log in into any account and it still work. So it is strange, if it asking about registration when you click on it.

As a reference here is what I get when I click on that link.

Hello Jon,

After reviewing your information it appears that you have a product key for Fences 2.0 under a different email address in our system, and looking at the activation attempts for that key, it appears that you were trying to activate Fences 3 with your Fences 2 key, which will not work.   If you log on with the account that has the Fences 2 key, you can visit the following link to get the correct download for Fences 2.  But as mentioned, Fences 2 will not work on Windows 11.
