Not receiving verification email for Fences 6 trial and cannot uninstall because of this.

I've installed Fences 6, rebooted and it has altered my desktop. However, despite numerous attempts and trying alternative email addresses: hotmail, icloud and gmail, I have not received any verification emails. I have checked my inboxes and spam folders on all three accounts.
In addition, the configuration process will not let me quit the app so I can uninstall it and get my normal desktop back. This is because it is awaiting the verification process to complete. Note that fences foes not appear in task manager so I cannot end the programme via that process.
Please advise on how I can verify by some other process or, alternatively, end any Fences 6 processes so that I can uninstall it because the default layout is not convenient for me.
