Acoustic Bridge feature request
Two feature requests for Acoustic Bridge
Your acoustic bridge is awesome, I've already bought a license! I love it! In my setup, I have one external monitor that is configured for two computers that I flip-flop between. The main computer has the external speakers connected to it, and the second computer is a laptop. This has been very helpful to send the sound from the laptop to the main PC so I can enjoy the quality of my larger speakers when I am flipped over to my laptop. Of course this means I no longer have access to the volume control on the primary computer. Because of that, I have two requests though.
#1 - Volume control. Please allow us the ability to control the volume being sent the receiving computer, preferably linked to the systems media control keys/functions, or some other mapping, so that we can use programmable keyboards and mice that have special functions to trigger system events.
#2 - Mute. Please allow us the ability to quickly mute, and allow it to be controlled via the media control keys/functions. Same as above, I'd like to be able to use my mouse to quickly mute the app.
I realize that I can click on the tray icon and disable sending audio as "mute" feature, but this is not ideal for a few reasons. #1, This is severing the connection, which is not really what I want. #2 - If you have your main sound unmuted, then after severing the connection, the sound just begins to come through your main speakers (laptop in this case.) #3 - There is no way to send a command to the acoustic bridge to do this via some type of script so I can fire it off with some other programming (again, in my case, my programmable mouse.) Granted, perhaps there is a way and I just haven't learned about it yet, such as a CLI command, which I'm all ears to hear about if it's available.
What would REALLY be idea is if the acoustic bridge could show up as an actual sound device. That would be the ultimate as then I'd have everything I need! So truthfully, that would be my number one request.
