Old account and license expiration

Hi everyone who's reading.

These days just popped out a new update for fences 3 that i use, so i've done it, then i noticed the ads about fences 6 ad i remembered the whole app suite offered by stardock.

So i tried to login to see the details of my account, and the system didn't recognize the mail as registered, so i registered again, with the same login and password used when i bought, and all went okay, it recognize the license binded to my account

 

Now, i bought Object Desktop in the April 2021 as a one time purchase, and used fences since then.
Now in the details of my download i see object desktop, object desktop insider and object desktop with my serial but with this: Key Expiration: 3/30/2026.

Now, i noticed that the service is as subscription, but that's not what i bought then, and in fact didn't expired in 6 years, but will expire next 2 months as soon as i registered again to try to see the changes in fences 6.

 

What am i missing? I mean, for new user subscription model will apply, but that's not what i bought in 2021.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, Object Desktop is always on yearly subscription plan. Same with Classics subscription (Prior to May 2023) or current Subscription plan. Never it has ever been a full permanent license plan. Not really sure why you think it was. Perhaps you have another permanent license for Fences 3 only. And it was activated using that license key all along.

Perhaps, if you can post a screenshot of your account product page. Something like my screenshot below,  we might know more. Do remember to blank off those license keys before sharing. 

Note: Looking at your current account, dated 01/2026, has it been marge with your older account properly?

I think it was, because i found the email, the receipt and all the thing about that purchase made in April 2021.

Since then i never payed a subscription. Tried to log in but it says the account didn't exixtes, so i registered again with same email i think it merged because it give me the key, but also say it will expire in march 26.

The subscription is yearly. i never payed for 5 years, because it was a one time payement in 2021, but now that i logged in, it expires in 2 months...

I also have the receipt, that says i bought Object desktop, not fences 3.

So if it had always been an yearly subscription, how you explain that i never payer it for 5 years?

But i remember it wasn't, i never subscribe to things, and in the invoice the yearly subs isn't mentioned.

I can send you the invoice or the order number if you need.

I can not check what actually happen, it is best to raise support ticket using the link below, use the "Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
