Cannot activate Fences 6 on second laptop

Not sure if I need to post or not since it seems you may be having troubles with your activation servers?  But just in case...

I just upgraded my Fences 3 multi-device license to Fences 6.  Activated fine on my first laptop, but the second laptop says 

"Unable to activate Fences 6 as it's currently active on a different computer..."

My product list shows it is a 5 device license.  Of course, it also shows 0 out of 5 activated.

P.S.  Looks pretty slick though.  Looking forward to it on both laptops...

Oh shoot, I think I see what I just did.  I was looking at WindowsFX 6, not Fences 6.  I think I just cross-wired my account.  I logged in with Steam and could not readily see which email address my Stardock account was tied to.  I may have created a second account.  One account should have [email protected].  The other may be [email protected].  If I stupidly created a second account when I purchased the upgrade I need them merged or something.  One has about 10 products including Fences 3 which should be for multiple devices.  From the looks of it, it di not treat it as an upgrade which would explain the problem.

Great, so you have figure it out why it is not activated. To merge two Stardock account please use this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260290067/Merging+two+accounts.

Also, if you purchased it under Steam, it will not appear in your Stardock account. It should appear on your Steam library. And, for Steam purchase you will need to install and activate only via Steam. There will not be any product keys for Steam purchased.

Okay, looks like it merged the accounts, but it looks like it is only a single device license?  I'm pretty sure my Fences 3 was multi-device (I have it installed on two devices) so should the upgrade to Fences 6 not been multi-device?

No, it actually depend on which one you purchased upgrade. Refer to this two choices. If you did purchased the Multi-Devices, you should have 5 activation.

yea, I clicked on the add that popped up, but I am pretty certain I selected the multi-device permanent license.  Unfortunately my receipt only says "Fences 6 Upgrade" so I would have assumed it would upgrade to the same type of license I had before (aka, multi-device).  Also, not sure if it is relevant or not but my product list for my account shows both Fences 3 and Fences 6 available for download.  Not sure if that makes sense or not.  I did confirm that originally purchased Fences 3 through Steam, but as I said above, I have it available for download in my Stardock account also.

For account issue, it best to raise support ticket, please raise support ticket using the link below, use the "Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
