Sound Packager no longer applying startup sound on Win11

Hi all.  first time using a forum in what feels like a decade... X|

I recentley got a new laptop for sandboxing and otherwise doing side-tasks with,  and decided to dress it up a little since I dislike Windows 11, still using Win10 on my desktop.  I installed Windowblinds,  as well as Retro Bar and Openshell to give it a windows XP appearance.

I started using the Sound Packager software to give it the SFX as well,  and it was working for a while, its still playing all the other sounds that it would normally play with the profile, but after a windows update, it now reverts back to its default win11 "boot" noise when the OS loads.

I've tried re-applying the profile,  turning it to default, and back on again, ive gone into the sound editor in windows and manually set the systemstart sound to my desired WAV,  I've tried ticking and unticking the "play a sound at startup".   I've even done some things in the registry,  I cant seem to roll this back.... it WAS working for a bit, then broken with an update...

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, do know that SoundPackager is not fully compatible with Windows 11. Refer here:
