I came across a Steve Lehto video on YouTube. I did not watch the whole thing, but I did find the webpage referenced in the video, found on WIndows Central.

Apparently, in the state of Pennsylvania, using Google can waive your 4th amendment rights.

I think that an IP address in and of itself is insufficient to establish guilt as it is the address of the computer, which anyone might have used for that search of KM.

I do agree with the justices though, that anyone using Google for anything should have zero expectation of privacy. Had they wanted privacy, Tor browser might have been a  better, more informed choice.

I'll also go so far as to say that the principle of justices negating any part of the Bill of Rights truly chafes.

It seems that no matter how hard we try to keep our privacy, it gets eroded away more and more everyday. If we want to use the Internet, we have accept that we are giving up some of our privacy. Diligence is the key to protecting what we can. <_<
