Mutiplicity v3.6 on Primary & Secondary, v4.07 on another Secondary New Laptop Not Connecting

Have been running v3.6 (just KM version with common keyboard and mouse) on my desktop (Primary, x86) and one laptop (Secondary, x86) for 8 years flawlessly. Purchased a new laptop (ARM/RISC based) and installed the latest trial version download of v4.07, and can't make the connection to the new laptop. Do I need to be running the same version on all 3 machines? If so, can I just uninstall v4.07 from the new machine and install the older v3.6 which runs just fine for my purpose? Thank you.

Yes.

As far as I know, Multiplicity will not run as intended on ARM based computers.

From what I've read it will run on ARM based computer as long as it's configured as Secondary and not the Primary.

"All features of Multiplicity 4 are compatible with Windows 11 on ARM, except for using a Windows 11 on ARM PC as the primary device with Seamless Display, which is expected in a future update."

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please run all system with same Multiplicity 4 version. Try that and report back.

Thank you,

For simplicity sake for the moment, can I just uninstall v4 from the new machine and install v3.6 to see if that would work on the new ARM machine?

V3 will not install on the ARM box, it doesnt have the files - only MP4 has support for ARM.

Thanks everyone. I was successful at downloading MP4 to the new machine (ARM) and Primary and setting up. Also downloaded to the old laptop and that is also working again. All 3 machines needed to be on MP4 to work. Appreciate all the input!
