ObjectDock v3 - compatible with Win 10 and Win 11?

I recently purchased then installed ObjectDock v3 on a Win10 Pro PC. I'm having problems adding new start items to the object dock. I came to stardock.com, searching for product documentation and/or instructions how to successfully add apps to the object dock. So far, I'm not finding what I'm looking for but I stumbled across something that indicates I may be wasting my time. In the Stardock Help Center, ObjectDock Information and Usage, there is a line that reads "Is ObjectDock Fully Win10 or 11 Compatible?" When you click on that link, the answer on that new page is "Object Dock is not supported in Windows 10 or Windows 11."

I am confused. ObjectDock is one of the apps included in Obect Desktop, a product Stardock claims is compatible with Win 10 and Win 11. I'd appreciate anyone who knows respond to this and let me know about ObjectDock's state of compatibility. And, if you also happen to know, please direct me to any ObjectDock documentation residing at stardock. com.

Thank you for any assistance you may render.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I know Object Dock is compatible on Windows 10 and 11, please post the link you mentioned her so we can check on it.

Basj:

Thanks for your response.

I played some more with ObjectDock and found one way to load an app onto the dock. I can drag a shortcut from the desktop into the dock. Contrary to instructions within ObjectDock, dragging an object from the start menu to the dock fails. Dragging an object from the task bar to the dock also fails. So the roundabout way to get a start menu item onto the dock is to first create a shortcut of the start menu item on the desktop and then drag it from the desktop to the dock. Still wish I could find documentation for this app on stardock.com.

Thanks again.

Thank you for the link, perhaps, that was a left over link from Object Dock v2 and should be remove or update. I have forwarded your finding to Stardock Support Team.We appreciate your feedback.

The other way to add link to Dock is by directly click and drag the .exe file from your File explorer to the dock.

Thank you.

Basj, if you can contact Stardock Support, would you please ask them where to find ObjectDock documentation on their website and tell me? I have yet to find any kind of user manual for this app to help me properly work this program, and I need the help.

Thanks for anything you can do.
