Number of copies needed

I have a subscription for Object Desktop, which refers to being able to have "Up to 5 active installs".

I also have purchased a single Start11 for Windows 11, and a Start11 upgrade from Start 10.

I am running Windows 11 as my primary OS, and via VMware I am running a Windows 10 VM and a Windows 11 VM. The primary OS is running Start11, and I upgraded the Windows 10 VM from Start10 to Start11. I had to start a trial version of Start11 in the Windows 11 VM.

Do I need another license for Start11 for the Windows 11 VM?

If not, how do I use the "Up to 5 active installs" ability?

Yes, you need one license each of your systems including those VM system. You can use this guide to review and manage your activation. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260191763/How+to+review+and+manage+your+current+activations. Try that and report back if you have any other question.
