cursor substitution?

Hi. I have Cursor XP and enjoy the creations people have submitted to the site for us to use. I'm wondering if I can apply one of the cursors to other applications? For example, I like the animated cursor for "working in background" and would like to use it for "busy". Can I do this or do I have to just go with what was created? Thanks.

Create a new theme, click the configure button under the Theme section. This turns the option button in the bottom right corner into another configure button. Select the cursor you want to change and click the new configure button in the bottom right corner. The Normal Select Dialog will open. Check Enhanced Cursor and import your cursor here. Make any changes needed then click OK button. Your new cursor should show up in your new theme. Continue to import any cursors you want then save the theme

That doesn't help him modify existing cursors really essencay...

What you have to do, is rename the CursorXP theme from "___.CurXP" to "___.zip" (make sure you have hide extensions for known file-types off in your folder options)

Then unzip it, and you'll have all the pngs used in the cursor. Then you can do what essencay said.
