Vasari overwhelming advantage in Multi Star

To put it into perspective - I literally recorded the video, uploaded the video, wrote this post and my fleet are still traveling to the other system while vesari are not only reached minutes ago but already traveled 6 planets deep. 

If you already have ability of infinite phase gates and insanely fast travel speed, how is it balanced for anyone else? They should have lowest HP ships - instead they get ridiculous armor. 

The problem now comes with the new factional victory - where they can easily run away at ridiculous speeds.

The "Downside" of being having weak planet defense is very little of a downside when you can easily teleport an entire fleet there in seconds.  While it would take any other faction minutes to go to defense and vesari just teleport to other side of the universe causing you to waste your travel time. 

More importantly TEC factional victory is countered with planet shields AND the ability to scuttle the planet. If TEC must destroy 5 enemy planets. Meaning you can literally counter victory buy just scuttling the planet before planet breaker hits.

Global teleportation for only one race/faction has always been an impossible mechanic to balance.

I know its a super cool identity & tool but it is just not possible to balance , both offensively and defensively.

And the bigger the map the greater of an advantage it becomes.

In the video, what is appalling it's not so much the global travel issue but the speed at which such travel occurs. But regarding global travel, while it may be only available to a faction from a lore perspective there are lore-friendly ways of mitigating this issue:

- TEC Enclave: research for special trader agreements with viturak transport cabal to increase total of phase gates in the empire (not just 3). In larger maps viturak is always be present.

- TEC Primacy: research for special smuggler deals with pirates to smuggle a limited number of phase gates. Pirates are always present.

- Advent Reborn: research for special focus feature where advent spend focus to stabilize phase travel to worlds that reached enough population (>300). Lore-friendly with the Reborn's population mechanics.

- Advent Wrath: research for special focus feature where advent spend focus to stabilize phase travel to recently destroyed worlds. In Rebellion there was actually a research called Planet for a Planet that activated when worlds were destroyed. Lore-friendly with the Wrath's revenge mechanics.
