No...nothing in my spam folder.

Not really sure why it not appearing on your system. But this is what I get on my email. Perhaps some other setting which delete all spam automatically.

One thing, I notice, I don't actually need to tick on "Subscribe", it usually automatically selected when I reply to a thread.

Thank you,

I have no setting which deletes spam automatically.  Even so it would be in my trash folder and it isn't there either.  They are automatically checked for me as well.  I just meant they are checked.

I still have the same issue with 2.55 which started for me in 2.53, where the taskbar has clipping on part of the clock and sometimes the start button, on secondary monitors. I am still running 2.51 on my primary system because the clipping is really bad and causes flickering, and it's quite distracting and annoying.

I updated to 2.55 on another computer just to test, and I think maybe the flickering and clipping is a bit less in this 2.55 version, or maybe it's just more consistent and less chaotic, but it still persists and you can see here in the screenshot the same small bit of clipping can be seen on each of the three secondary displays in the clock area where the start of the "S" in Sun is cut off. Sorry if it's small and hard to see without zooming in, but it's the best way to capture what is going on. When you actively drag windows from one screen to the next, the left and right sides of the taskbar start flickering and more of the clock gets cut off and sometimes the left side of the start button is cut off also. But once you release a window into a destination screen, it will refresh after a moment, and the result is usually as you can see here, it consistently cuts off some of the left side of the clock text. So, when windows are not moving, it's not that bad, just part of the clock is cut off but, while you are actively moving windows, lots of flickering and clipping on the taskbar on all displays where there is movement.

The primary display (the one with the task tray and pinned shortcuts) functions properly all the time and does not experience any clipping or flickering, only the secondary displays. Settings are to always show taskbars on all screens. This screenshot was taken via RDP, so this issue happens on the system locally, and even when connected via Windows RDP.

On the same system running version 2.51, everything is perfect, no flickering when moving windows around and no clipping or cut off areas in the taskbar.

Both systems running Windows 11 24H2, and both have Nvidia GPU with the same latest "game ready" drivers.

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced issues like this when using multiple displays or if this is something unique to my two computers and these 4x monitors??

Thanks for any attention and time spent looking into this issue and work done on a resolution.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 11 24H2 OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get this number.
  2. Start11 Enhance taskbar turn on or off? If it is Off, turn it on reboot and see if you still see the issue.

Thank you,

Hello, I can answer these:

1. OS Build 26100.6725 on both systems (but also was occurring with 26100.6588 before the latest updates).

2. Yes, this is with enhanced taskbar turned on.

Thanks for the follow-up!

Also, as a test, if you turn off the 2 top monitors. Restart Explorer.exe. Does the issue appear on those big two monitors?

With top monitors off, the issue does appear on the remaining secondary display.

Unfortunately I can not reproduce your issue on my system.

Would like to suggest please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

ODNT-9883 not yet resolved. It's same as previous beta. I think I was using 2.55 beta until today.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion but, I have since done a lot of additional testing and have narrowed down the issue to rounded corners. If I turn off rounded corners the issue goes away.

Purging aside, I just tested by installing onto a Windows 11 VM that previously never had S11 installed and started turning on features to match my settings until the issue started happening and it started with rounded corners. I also tried to test with the animation on/off and different padding settings and also different degrees of roundedness but, no matter what I tried if rounded corners are turned on, it will cause the clipping and flickering in the taskbar on secondary displays.

So, I'm just going to turn off rounded corners for now and stick with 2.55. I will try to tinker a bit more and can update if I find anything.

Thank you for pointing the Rounded corner part. I can not reproduce this issue on my secondary monitor. It look like its on the "X offset setting:". The large the offset more "day" got cut off. For my system it started to show on "Large"

I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience. Thank you.

Build 26100.6725. Two start buttons. Two monitors, the primary is #2 on the right side.

The non-primary shows this:

Seemed random. Usually this doesn't happen.

Bug feedback

Version Windows 11 Home Chinese

Version 23H2

Installation date: February 19, 2025

Operating system version 22631.2506

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22677.1000.0

The following issues have occurred since the update

The appearance of the group background is lost. Every time I restart my computer or resource manager, the group appearance I set will return to its default, as shown in the picture.

When resetting, I found that the path and file pointed to were correctly selected, but it seemed that they were not loaded by themselves, and I had to manually set them again to appear

The directions shown in the picture are correct, and there are no illegal characters in the path, but it must be manually selected again to display properly

I want to roll back to the previous version, but I don't know how to do it on Steam

:(

  1. Which Start11v2 menu style you're currently using? Not really clear from your screenshots.
  2. Look like you have many page on your Start panel, do the issue appear on any page?
  3. Issue only appear for your Group and tabs background? No issue on custom tile image?

Windows 10 Style

The problem only occurs on the homepage, and other pages (including those within the group) can be displayed normally after restarting

The problem only occurs in the background of groups and tabs, and custom images display normally.

I have tried reinstalling completely in Steam, but the problem still persists. However, I have found the previous version 2.51, which runs well.

If you try on other Start11 style such as Windows App or Windows Pro style, etc, does the issue appear in there?

I notice there is some issue after wake up from sleep on Windows 11 24H2 / 25H2.

The start button will just display the regular start menu without the enhancement from Start11.  I restart Start11 service and Start the start11 program, nothing changed.  I use the restart explorer option in Start11 and still no go.  I have to restart the computer in order to see the start11 menu again.  It's always happen after wake up from sleep, and I will say I see this behavior about 1 out of 10 wake from sleep.

I'm experiencing issues with Windows Explorer crashing repeatedly almost every time I open a file or folder from the Start Menu after updating to 2.55. I'm using the Windows 11 style Start Menu and enhanced taskbar with the following customization:

Icon size: 17 px
Button width: 22 px
Button height: 18 px

I found that the issue only occurs when Button width is set to anything lower than 28 px AND when using a custom Start Menu style. I'm on 25H2 OS Build 26200.6725, but the problem was present on 24H2 as well.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. How exactly did you set those icons size, button width and button height to that specific pixels size?
  3. Also, what do you mean by Custom Start menu style? Post some screenshot might help us understand it better.

Hello,
Thank you for your information, I can't reproduce your issue on my system. Refer to my short video below.

Perhaps, something not properly installed. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

I can't continue replying on this post because my account is new. As I originally said, the issue arises when Button width is set to anything lower than 28 px. You have it set to 28 px in the video you posted.

Hello again,

Sorry, my bad, I overlooked that part. I redo the test with Button width 22px. But, I still can not reproduce your issue.

However, I do notice that the taskbar button width in my system does not look like its 22px. Do you see these on your system too?

Thank you,

I reverted back to 2.5.3 because 2.5.5 keeps crashing and restarting Explorer.exe

I had this issue with an older version and cannot for the life of me remember what Stardock advised, which fixed it.
