Where did Snapshot go?

Just installed Fences6, was using Fences4.

Cannot find the Snapshot feature that was valuable in Fences4.

Where did it go??

Hi EarlStar. Fences 5 & 6 made significant improvements to how multi monitor situations were handled, and so snapshots were demoted to more of a backup functionality than intent for folks to make active use and switch between.

If you have a specific scenario that you use it for today we’d be happy with to hear more about it for the team’s consideration for ongoing development, as we know not everyone has loved the feature now being a click away, and are looking for creative ways to solve for folks’ needs. Thanks for your understanding

I like to have a mix of icons in and out of fences on my desktop.

Occasionally, after an OpSys update my desktop icons would all bunch up on one side of the display.  The Snapshot feature has allowed me to restore the order (and my sanity) instantly. So, when I installed Fences 6, and didn't immediately see the Shapshots at the botton of the Layout page, I was concerned.

Thank you for helping me restore my faith in Fences!

By the way:

When I tried Fences5 some time ago, I found that moving a fence would cause the non-fenced icons to scatter out of its way.  As a result, I went back to Fences4 which did not disturb decktop icons when I repositioned a fence.  Eventually, the Peek feature that was added to Fences4 stopped functioning -I assume due to an Windows OpSys update.  As I find Peek very helpful, I thought I would try Fences6.  Peek works great!! Very happy about this, but desktop icons still scatter when approached by a fence.  So, I am thinking that the best solution is to fence ALL desktop icons.  Any thoughts on this?

Thanks again for helping me find the amazing Snapshoot feature :D .
