Feature Suggestion: Easy way to create Start11 menu pins

While Start11 has great features for creating pins to the taskbar, I don't think it has much in the way of features to create Pins to the Start11 Menu?

Suggest:

  • Explorer extension context menu item for 'Pin to Start11. Using this:
    • Creates a windows shortcut to the item in a the folder '%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu'
    • Pins that shortcut to Start11, which the user can later reorganise. Or maybe opens a dialog allowing the user to choose also which group it is first organised into.

possibly

  • A tool for helping craft shortcuts that launch exe's and pass arguments/options. At its most basic this is just a browser to the exe, and 1 field for arguments, and then creates the shortcut and pin as above. (It may even be possible to aid with checking arguments, but I don't know how much of this is dictated by the application. (e.g. is the application which might take exception to -option='value' vs -option="value" vs --option...) )

Many thanks.
(still really appreciate the product)

The first one already exists.  You can either use the OS pin to start option which will also pin to the OS menu, or if you select show more options you can use "Pin to Start11"

You can also pin things to the start menu (menu style dependent), by right clicking in a group and picking new and then pin file, folder, website or installed application.

Thanks.
Well that's really irritating. I found it in a second this time. Under 'more', which is the only menu I ever use, the first level menu is useless for all but copy and paste. I'd understand if they moved only extension menu items, but they didn't.
Maybe I was unlucky and the extension wasn't loaded for some reason, but I doubt that. The windows 11 UI is such a total garbage mess though and its not getting any better. Ms never finish anything before moving onto the next feature. It's like ADHD must be job requirement, or something got into the water over at Redmond about 8 years ago.
My second suggestion... meh...
