September 2025 Desktop Screenshots

Back to school, kiddies!

Summer's ended...thank all the powers that be. Caught the flu...and recovering, slowly. No smell of burning leaves...sorry, but I truly miss that.

So the month of September evokes powerful memories of leaves changing colors, "back to school", wrapping books in brown paper bags (anyone remember...time was it wouldn't occur to me to ask that...), diving in musty leaf piles, ah...memories.

So, this month's WB is 0 Maple Leaves...yes, adni18's. The docks are recolored V_O_X by vStyler and ported to Winstep by Giz. The wall is Gemini AI, and Ps...school kids and autumn leaves in Cubist style. If anyone wants it, I've posted it.

Ahh yes, back to school memories. We had book covers provided by local businesses with advertising on them. We always put them on with the blank side showing.

Great wall Doc!

Nice one, Doc. I remember going to school back in the 70's, with my school books held under my arm, along with my notepads and pens in thin plastic wrappers. Ah, the 70's, when all the best music was released! ^_^

The first day of autumn and a wonderful time of the year, I think, with all the colors changing and mixed weather. Yes, I'm one of those who enjoy the dark and rainy days!

I've been changing my deskop a lot these last few days, going through many of adni18's windowblinds, and for today I'm using one called 5 - FIVE. The saturation and brightness has been slightly reduced and a texture is added through the settings in Windowblinds. The Rainmeter weather is by xenium-ART and the clock by adni18. Fences by Stardock. I made the wall with AI & PS to go with this theme and you can get it in my Wincustomize gallery.

Hope you all are well and having as fun customizing as me!

Great job, Jan   5*  . This is the fun and enjoyable benefit of customizing...and knowing how to use the tools to get to your desired result.

Wall ????

Try a tineye reverse image search or a Google image search, Chuck. The screenie doesn't have enough of the wall to search.

King is a great author...and Cindy was a great skinner. Her Winsteps are great, too.

Good on ya, Reaper. k1

Thanks, Doc! A good chunk of the King universe revolves around The Dark Tower, besides the 8 mainline novels, which is pretty cool. I love it when characters or situations from one book show up or are referred to in other books, such as Father Callahan from 'Salem's Lot plays a significant role in the final three Dark Tower novels and many other short stories and novels outside the Dark Tower universe, weaved in and out of the series.
