I was watching a replay for the first time when the A.I. about took my planet at the very begginging after wiping out all om my fleet. If you know this game thats like 45 minuts in when I notice that there is no vision of the opposit team unless thier is your ships thier, will this change? I am often curiouse about how they expand and build.
Wait I did find this option as well as a fast forward and a reverse after clicking out side of any menue, ships or HUD a timeline under your playes name becomes visable along with a paint brush that gives you the option of player visability or full visability by clicking.
Hey, it sounds like you resolved the issue.
But to be safe - you can enable full map vision, by clicking on a small icon at the bottom, where the timeline bar is.
And yeah, you can switch between players, which will also allow you to see how opponents research techs, etc
