Start 11 and the System Tray

Does Start 11 allow making the System Tray multi line?

Start 11 allows me to have a multi-row Taskbar on Windows 11, which is great, but the multi-row behavior evidently doesn't automatically extend to the Tray icons which remain strung out in a single row.

I did a search on line regarding the topic and found there's a few utilities that may fix that Tray behavior, but also some oblique references to Start 11 perhaps including the capability.

I had a look through the Start 11 settings, but nothing jumped out at me as having anything to do with the behavior of the Tray.

Can anyone clarify for me whether that's an option in Start 11?

Thanks,

Stef

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, currently, Start11 can only have one row taskbar tray icons.

Is there a technical limitation reason for that?

Is would be so useful to have the original multi line tray from Windows 10 implemented in Start11.

Screen real estate is so valuable, especially on laptops...

I believe this has changed since Windows 11. And, I believe Dev know about it, few users have raise feature request on this. But. so far nothing was officially announce on it.

What’s the official way to raise a feature request for this? I mentioned two columns for the system tray in vertical taskbar orientation in the 2.53 feedback thread but it went unacknowledged.

You can raise feature request right here in the forum and if someone, like me, or someone else respond to it, and mention your request has been forwarded to Support. That mean that request get listed in Stardock internal feature request list. These request will be review my Support and Dev team. Do know that not all request get implement.

I agree a hundred times!!

Especially on a laptop, the single-column wastes so much of the tight taskbar space (height).

Stardock, please!!!!
