Hello!

Could you tell me what what steps you take that leads to this pop up? Like do you click anything or navigate any menus or is this instant when loading the game? Also, I understand you tried reinstalling but could you also try verifying the files

Hi, thanks for the answer. Yeah would be better to give more Info in the first place.

So it worked at the beginning I could play with a friend in MP and also with Mods. After I register and connect my Steam Account with mod.io (also connect my Google account to it) to create my first mod for our own use (just edit some stuff for our play).

I got Multiplayer grayed out instantly from the start. And above was our try to join the lobby with Steam invite, but it failed. I have done several verifying the files (3 - 4 Times). Also, my friend has no Issu and it working by him.

It weirdly tells us that I am not logged in and also says that I don't accept the DSVGO and just what? Btw where is the check Box for it maybe it let me then play MP.

Connected with Steam Acc.

In English maybe it helps more.

Thank you for the additional details, some of the team is out at the moment but ill have them, take a look asap. I was told that it may help to try renaming your try renaming your C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\sins2  directory.

Hi, I already found it, and it was also my thought that deleting it would help, so the game would have to create a new one.

But yeah id didn't change it. Just tested it out. It didn't help still greyed out.

Hey it appears you have not accepted GDPR on the game start up. So multiplayer does not work.
Does any pop up appear now, when starting the game? If not, I will ask the team, what can be done about it

In your settings.json file, located here:

"C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\sins2\settings"

line 213 or so should be: "gdpr_accepted_version": 1,

Let me know what you see. If it's a 0 instead of a 1, change it, save it, then see what happens in-game, please.

Should be able to edit file with notepad or similar app.

hi, it was Line 247 and it was on 0 I changed it to 1 and saved it.  (used notpad++)

and it is still greyed out but without that,t it say that I don't accept the gdpr.

Are you using the dev exe or the normal one? Dev exe has multiplayer disabled because you can use the debug menu to spawn units and stuff.

Normal one. Start over Steam. I am also starting it over the exe with the same result.

Found it. It was the Launcher that enabled the dev exe mode. I never clicked on it so I don't know why it was active. Even if I started dirket with ne normal exe it doesn't work. Reinstall also does not work or edit the settings file.

Thanks for the help anyway and here is the Picture for does where the have the same problem.
