No, it pins to Start  but under More where all the other apps have it doesn’t show PIN to Taskbar.

It did at first but then it would show multiple versions if more than one opened

Just open file explorer, right click icon on taskbar to bring up jumplist and select pin to taskbar.

I will try that when I have some time.  Right now I uninstalled Stardock 11, pinned File Explorer to the taskbar then reinstalled Stardock11 and now shows up. When I do your suggestion my choice is to Unpin from taskbar, so I will just leave it there for now.

Now I am looking for how to not have a taskbar icon for every email I have open, every Word document open, every Excel spreadsheet open, and every  File Explorer open.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you on Windows 11, try these setting. Under Enhanced taskbar settings. Try the Always combine taskbar buttons.

Thank you.
