Trouble with 1 Windowblinds skin created under Windows 10

In general, adding more customizing software usually causes more problems.

I think you should tell us which version of WindowBlinds you're using (from the "About" tab in the WB configuration window), and your W10 version (run winver).

Also, when was this skin created? If that's the only skin you're having a problem with, I'd hazard a guess that his skin is the problem.

My experience with DeviantArt is that while some skins found there may be ok, there are also some that are problematic, largely because DeviantArt's standards IMO are not at the same high level as here at Wincustomize. Indeed, some skins there might actually cause some real serious issues with your Windows installation. Maybe. It's a risk you take. Maybe things are better now, but years ago, there were people using that platform to spread viruses and malware, allegedly. So be very careful when on that site, and before opening or installing anything, do your due diligence and scan the files with good guality antivirus and anti malware software. Also make a restore point. If something goes bad, or awry, you can go back, and undo any negative changes with system restore. Also, that site has other issues that I don't want to get into here, just be careful.  Also, that skin was made for Windows 10, and yet you are using Windows 11. So that could explain why you are having issues with that skin.

I've 2 or 3 Windowblinds skins created under Windows 10 who work right with my Windows 11.

It's other dealer of Windowblinds skins. I think take a risk for to buy one of these skins for to try on my Windows 11, but i'm despited for to read this.

Eric, those limitations are due to the way Microsoft coded Windows11. WindowBlinds cannot change hard coded parts of Windows 11.

Do we actually know what or where the problem is? What in the skin actually don't work?

Nothing via Stardock or Wincustomize can change what the author has mentioned here.

The fact he states he has stopped producing Windowblinds themes 'some years ago' means none of his themes will entirely suit Windows 11, no matter what he may claim as Windows 11 is still in constant change...;)
