Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)

  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Start11 v2 a better product.

Known issues

While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

Hello! Please tell me, when will the translation of “Task Manager” in the taskbar context menu finally be fixed? 4 versions have already passed, and there is still no fix....

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You're referring to which display language?

Thank you

It is displayed in English and after each update of the program I again have to independently add a line with the translation to the Russian language file...

P.S. Also, shortcuts to portable programs added to Start11 do not work entirely correctly: when you right-click, the menu appears with a delay. Maybe this can be fixed in a new version?

Not sure what you mean by these, you're using English on Russian language display setting or the other way around. A screenshot of what you're seeing would help us understand your issue greatly.

Need more information on this one. Need to know few things.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build. Use Winver.exe
  2. Please provide a portable programs that I can test out.
  3. Pinned short cut to Start11 Start panel or taskbar?
  4. Post a short video would help us understand this one better too.

Thank you,

I have Windows with a Russian interface, and the menu item I specified is displayed in English.

Now about the problem with shortcuts for portable problems: of course they were added to Start11, otherwise why would I write about this problem here. In the native menu everything works without problems. Here is the link to the video, please watch it  https://www.upload.ee/files/17068632/Video_2024-09-06_214955.mp4.html

In the video I show how right-clicking on a shortcut for a portable program works and, for comparison, how it works when clicking on a shortcut for an installed program.  Use for testing - https://telegram.org/dl/desktop/win64_portable

There is a problem with setting the taskbar to top for the second monitor. I click on show hidden icons in the systray on the first monitor and the icons will pop up in the upper right corner of the first monitor. If I set it back to bottom for the second monitor, the systray icons will show back up where they should on the first monitor. I have my second monitor off and this still happends. It would be nice if this could be fixed. I have a video of it in case I didn't explain it right.
