Task bar white border with windowblinds

Hello!

I have a problem with windowblinds.

Sometimes when I start my computer and log on to my user the taskbar is surrounded by a white border, I've tested multiple themes but the result is the same, I've reinstalled WindowBlinds and the result is the same.

What I've detected is that if I restart Windows Explorer the border disappears (gets fixed) but a weird Explorer window appears, it can be closed but from the taskbar only.

Normal TaskBar:

TaskBar with white border:

Explorer's window after restarting (Can't be opened so it must be closed from the red X in the image):

Hope it's just a bug, ty!

I doubt that is caused by Windowblinds. My guess would be that you have some other third party software installed to customize your start menu/taskbar/explorer.

I've installed in my computer Cursor FX, Start 11, Fences, Iconpackager and Windowblinds.

It is the first time im using Windowblinds in W11, this never happened to me without WindowBlinds but after installing it started to happen.

As I said, it looks like something is conflicting with Windowblinds. Do you have any other third party software installed (non-Stardock apps) to modify your system?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I've purged WindowBlinds twice and problem still there.

You must know that this happens not all the time, sometimes after the log in everything is correct, sometimes not (Kind of 20% appears the problem).

Weird behaviour.

Next, please try Cleanboot: https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#cleanboot.

Note: please follow the steps carefully.

Hello again,

I've experienced the same issue after configuring new profiles or new computer installation.

Kind of weird, happens like 10 or 20 % of logins.

Also on the new computer what application that is running also running on the first system?

Thank you,

One thing that comes to mind is out dated themes not updated to current.

Thank you for that, I've tried new themes and still having the issue.

Idk if it is relevant, but I started playing with some customization with Iconpackager, after applying some icon themes the issue appeared, dunno if its something related to Iconpackager.

Will keep looking.

Best regards!
