In-Game Modding Menu Broken - Not Authenticated

My in game modding menu (Modding/Mods.io tab) is no longer accessible - it just shows orange text "mods not authenticated".

This issue began yesterday, before the most recent update. I've tried repairing the game files via steam AND completely uninstalling/re-installing, issue persists.

A few days ago (~4) the modding menu was working, I had installed a map pack and played it. This installed map pack has since disappeared from my game menu and the "manage" section of the modding menu.

Hello! To clarify with this update you do have to resubscribe to old mods, otherwise restarting the game or verifying files also resolves this issue

I have been fighting the not authenticated bug from day one mod.io support finally gave up and said lets hope the next patch fixes it...well I've done all the things multiple times and I'm still not authenticated and it would seem I also lost the ability to put mods in manually the local mod option is just gone now not sure if that was part of this new patch or a new feature I get from the latest patch lol guess I'll shelve the game tell the next patch and hope for the best...

One solution ive seen others use is to enter %userprofile%\AppData\Local\sins2\settings in your File explorer bar and delete the .enabled_mods file. The game should recreate a blank one on next start-up and you'll be back to base game

Yeah I've done that multiple times and I've uninstalled reinstalled verified files ect ect. Don't know why its bein such a pain! hopefully it will sort its self out before the star trek armada mod is finished. At the moment I have spacemarine 2 to keep me occupied lol. Love the game played it long enough to learn the new mechanics so to speak and I'm ready to start modding it and get a few thousand hours out of it like I did sins 1. Love the game you guys rock! I'm just patiently waiting for this to work I check every morning to see if I'm authenticated and I can load mods one day it will happen :)

Hello! We are seeing the issue on a very inconsistent basis, but will be investigating it internally, hoping to be able to circle back here when we have some updates

Have there been any updates on this fix? I've tried everything short of shooting my hard drive.
