Fences Subscription vs Object Desktop Subscription

Greetings. While reviewing my Stardock software, I noticed that my Fences subscription may actually be included if I upgrade that to an Object Desktop subscription. Is this correct? Will the Object Desktop subscription include future release upgrades for the included software? Fences, the more critical piece of the suite, is the one I am keenly concerned about.

Hello,

Yes, Fences is included in Object Desktop subscription, for more on Object Desktop please refer here: https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/. https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/ and here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1496285185/What+is+an+Object+Desktop+%26+Subscription+Software.

Also, do know Object Desktop come with up to 5 active installs. And it also support ARM base devices.

Thank you.

OK, and is there a seamless method to switching that subscription from Fences to Object Desktop? Or will I need to cancel one and subscribe to the other?

I believe you should click on the "Get it now" button under the "Upgrade" column : refer screenshot below (red arrow).

I'm curious how this works myself and am not fully clear in this thread yet.

So if I have an active Fences subscription and instead wanted an active Object Desktop subscription.

And

If I were to use the upgrade Object Desktop option with the discounted price by using my Fences subscription would I then be left with....

1. Just one subscription because the Fences subscription is now upgraded to a Object desktop one instead

Or

2. Two active subscriptions. One for Fences and a new one for Object Desktop. Therefore, one would need to be canceled.

Yes.  As basj has noted, we've sought to detail such answers to questions regarding Object Desktop subscriptions in our Stardock Help Center documentation article below.  If you have questions regarding this and would like further clarification on how this works, please let us know.

As this works currently, you'll want to cancel your Fences subscription once you've purchased Object Desktop.  To verify the status of any of your subscriptions through your Stardock account, please see the following page:
