Hi

Been using fences for a few years, I am on windows 11, if I have notepad docs in the fence when I click once to open it always opens another notepad doc, it may be another instance of the same doc or another random saved notepad in the same fence, I have tried uninstalling, and re install but it still does the same thing always opens 2 docs, only 1 instance running in taskbar, its not a deal breaker yet but it is pretty annoying as you would appreciate.

Check the Notepad settings and make sure you don't have "Open content from the previous session" selected.

Wow been having this issue for yonks (years), yep that was selected, and now its not, all all is good, thank you Pelaird appreciated x

You're welcome. Just had a feeling that might be the problem. This setting seems to be the default for Notepad. :grin:
