ObjectDock 3 and Mouse Issue

Hello, I just got the ObjectDock 3 upgrade after using the previous version forever.

Glad to see it's gotten more stable and is got proper Win11 support and stuff, however I've got this issue that's concerning me greatly.

I've got third party software that's managing how my Mouse keys work, specially mouse 4 and 5, however while ObjectDock3 is running it overrides all of it for some reason?? It goes all by default and I don't understand why. It wasn't an issue with the previous Objectdock.

Any help or fix would be really appreciated. Objectdock shouldn't be tampering with this.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. Windows 11 full build numbers. Use Winver.exe
  2. What is the name of that 3rd party software that manage your mouse keys?

Thank you.

Thanks for the swift response, here:

1. Windows 11 Version 23H2 OS Build 22631.3447

2. X-Mouse Button Control

However, while checking the name of the program, I've forced an update on X-Mouse Button Control (from 2.19 to 2.20) and the issue has been fixed seemingly?

My configs now persist while using Objectdock.

I will let know if there are any more developments, am really sorry for taking away of your time but it seems everything is good now.

Hello, am afraid to say the issue has indeed reappeared, everything is up to date and all, any ideas?

Edit: I've just noticed that if X-Mouse Button Control is ran AFTER ObjectDock 3 the issue will no be present at all, explains how the update fixed the issue before because I restarted that app while ObjectDock was running.

I'd just need to figure out how to make Objectdock run first than the other on startup.

I did try it but it wouldn't let me delay that one application for some reason, gave me an "the requested operation requires elevation" even when ticking the run with highest permissions option.

Solved it tho, had to do something simpler, deleted their startup registry entry and added it to the startup folder just like Objectdock does: https://imgur.com/cDzzBas

This way it runs last and gives me no issues. Hope this helps out someone else that runs into something similar.
