Hi all! is it worth using Object Bar? read all please

its free to try, best way to make a judgement

i want to see what other ppl think about it

Its works great if you don't like the normal taskbar and startmenu

And it is free so why don't you try it out and not make decisions based off of other peoples opinions. hopefully you will learn to like something not dependent on what others say.

What is it you are looking for out of a program?
Or what is it you are wanting to do with your GUI?

Then, ask specifics, you might get more pertinent information the suggested way...

personally, i think a computer without ObjectBar is nearly useless

i use ObjectBar along with its ability to specify how the programs are grouped on the taskbar to keep careful control of all the running programs on my machine.

also, you can embed plugins into your task bar and add additional bars that appear or disapear at the press of a button.

if you want a more powerful replacement for the normal taskbar then ObjectBar is a very good solution

I meant objectbar. I use it when I feel macish.

other then that I haven't gotten it to render the startmenu and taskbar correctly...I have some strange settings that I like...so I just let windows handled it.

I like objectbar, its easy to configure, can replace start menu and taskbar or supplement them with launchbars or docks of your own devising.

I use an objectbar launchbar that auto hides to bottom of screen and pops up to just above the normal windows taskbar. It contains six catergorised buttons which when pressed display other bars full of handy shortcuts

You can use it to make a startmenu that is totally different to the standard windows one in shape, size and what it contains. You can make a taskbar that is similairly original, contains multiple sections for different types of programs, displays explorer windows with icon and text, all other programs with icons only...etc

It's an extremely versatile piece of software.
