help

Start11 says it may not be compatible with my prerelease version of Windows 11.??

 

I am not aware that I have a prerelease version.

Ok, well, since posting here, I decided to uninstall/reinstall Start11 and now I get the error:

Start11 is not associated with this account. I have tried all 3 accounts.

 

BUT, upon installing again , it tells me this:

Still having these issues.  Reply 2 is from Start11 ver 1.** Reply 3 is from Start11 V2.

So, either way, I can't use Start11.  Please help.

I am not, nor do I ever, run a prerelease / preview version of Windows.

 

I did used to beta test Windows, beginning with Vista.  But these days, we're all beta testing...lol.

Hello Redneck. You have a very weird issue. I can confirm that I have been running your same version of Windows myself and can not reproduce this

There was a windows update today, maybe that will help?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. This is weird, I never saw this thread before today, However, I also have same Windows 11 version as yours. And on Start11 v2.03, yet I do not see that popup ever. Have you try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after, re-download the latest version again. Reinstall it and reboot again. Retest and report back.

Do you have any other mods that hook into explorer.exe ? (i.e. taskbar mods)

I use nothing that isn't Microsoft or Stardock.

I did a little testing. It has been a while since I used version 1. I found that you need to use the beta download version 1.47.3 for start 11 v1 to work properly on Windows 23h2 (at least after start 11v2 has been installed)

Have you tried using the beta version of v1 in your downloads?

 

In regards to Start 11v2, this requires a new license purchase in order for it to work

I don't have clearance to check, but if you do, and you can not activate Start11 v2, please raise support ticket using the link below, use the product not receive option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
